Here is an example of a false alarm from a Dell server. This one was built in 2018, but I reused the name from a previous build. On AVP, errors are found in /var/log/syslog.log. avpcimon: DISKBATTERY_FAULT "Battery on HPSA1" "Status=Warning" avpcimon: DISK_CLEAR "Logical Volume 1 on HPSA1 : RAID 5 : 273GB : Disk 1,2,3" "Status=OK" avpcimon: DISK_FAULT "HP Smart Array P410i Controller : Embedded : HPSA1" "Status=Warning" avpcimon: DISK_CLEAR "Disk 3 on HPSA1 : Port 1I Box 1 Bay 3 : 136GB : Data Disk" "Status=OK" avpcimon: DISK_CLEAR "Disk 2 on HPSA1 : Port 1I Box 1 Bay 2 : 136GB : Data Disk" "Status=OK" avpcimon: DISK_CLEAR "Disk 1 on HPSA1 : Port 1I Box 1 Bay 1 : 136GB : Data Disk" "Status=OK" If the following is seen it indicates a raid battery issue: If disk is showing failed, please contact Avaya for hard drive replacement. Go to /var/log and run 'grep avpcimon remote.log | grep -i DISK' to see all disk related logs noting which disk is reported as failed. On the AVPUS, this is found in /var/log/remote.log This is an alarm about DISK_FAULTs detected, related to HP server Raid controller P410i, or the Dell PERC H730 mini controller.
